Analysis the Influence of Talent Management Practices on Employee Retention: Mediating Role of Job Satisfaction

Abstract
The main aim of the present study was to conduct an in-depth investigation into the impact of “talent management practices” and “employee retention” in private sector banks in the Jaipur area. In addition, the study aimed to explore the potential of job satisfaction as a mediator for improving the relationship between the two variables above. To achieve these objectives, a structured questionnaire was distributed to a research sample of 200 employees who were randomly selected from six private sector banks in the Jaipur circle. A quantitative research method was used for data collection, and the research instrument consisted of a self-administered questionnaire. The convenience sampling technique was used to select the research participants. The proposed hypotheses were evaluated using a structural equation model. The study’s results revealed a strong and significant positive relationship between talent management practices in banks and staff retention. Furthermore, the study found that job satisfaction played a crucial role in mediating this relationship between the independent and dependent variables. Overall, the study employed a wellfitted model to clarify the relationship between talent management practices and employee retention in private-sector banks. The findings of this research could be valuable for banks in the Jaipur area and other organizations in the financial industry that are interested in enhancing their talent management practices and retaining their valuable employees.
